Poker is a card game where players try to make the best hand possible from a combination of their own cards and the cards in the pot. It is a card game that can be played with a group of people or alone, and there are various variations on the rules of play.<\/p>\n
To begin a poker game, each player has to place an initial amount of money in the pot, called an ante. The ante is usually small and is determined by the rules of the game.<\/p>\n

When the river is dealt, the player with the highest-ranked hand wins the pot. If a card with a different color back is found in the stub, the action is void and the chips in the pot are returned to the players who wagered them (subject to the next rule).<\/p>\n
